Save Us All From Satan's Power

You didn’t really expect a typical Christmas design from me, did you?

I love the lyrics of old Christmas hymns. The next time you sing Silent Night, Hark! the Herald Angels Sing or, in the case of this design, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, stop and really pay attention to the lyrics. They are incredibly powerful.

I gotta give props to The New Standards, a St. Paul jazz trio, for making me notice the lyric I used in the design. I’ve seen their annual Christmas show the past few years and they do a version of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen that really calls out this line.

Merry Christmas!

Hi Jim- A friend of mine turned me on to your work. I’m blown away and I now hate all of my art work. Ha ha! Thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks, Chuck! I just checked out your site and saw your OT and NT illustrations. HOLY CRAP. Seriously, dude, I love those!

As I’ve said on Facebook, I don’t believe in the Bible but I think that you’re creating some really awesome stuff here! This looks brilliant again too. It would also work very well for a fantasy novel (which the Bible is, for me ;)). I love the colors, the fonts, the different elements. Really, really good work.
