One of the ways I try to stay creative even when I’m not doing art or design work is by doing Design Treasure Hunts. Basically, I alway try to keep a look out for design treasures that are hidden in plain sight. Below are some of my most recent discoveries.
I come across a lot of great Biblical design from other folks. Gettin’ Biblical is a blog series to share those designs.

Scott Hill is the Art Director (and co-founder) of Foundry Collective, a creative agency based in Oklahoma City. I love everything I’ve seen from Scott but I wanted to focus this post on his Animal Alphabet series. I’m in love with the playfulness of it and the color palette is spectacular.
It can be funny how you stumble across art/artists online. One day I was on Dribbble and noticed that “Bible” was a common tag for many of my designs on there. I decided to see what else was on Dribbble tagged as “Bible.” And that is how I came across the amazing work of Chris Koelle.
Frank Chimero is an illustrator, designer, writer and teacher working out of Portland. He has an incredible ability to take big or complex ideas and communicate them in a simple way. I was digging Frank’s work a lot during my Haggai design and all of my Matthew designs.
