Blessed to Death
I grew up immersed in the Bible and 1980s evangelical culture, but I am no longer a person of faith. This series uses visual art to examine how white evangelicals define being “blessed” through political power, wealth, and self-interest—contrasting that vision with the one modeled in Jesus’ words, life, and death.
