81% of white evangelicals voted for a man with a clear history of white supremacist actions and rhetoric. Sadly, this fits within a history of racism in the white evangelical church, including the defense of slavery and Jim Crow laws as well as countless other acts of violence and oppression towards people of color.

After years of being the “moral police,” white evangelicals give Trump a pass (endorsement?) on—among other things—infidelity, sexual assault and the objectification of women.
