"Understanding the Ten Commandments" Sermon Art

I recently created a sermon series set based on the Ten Commandments for the folks at Sharefaith.

The story of the Ten Commandments is pretty strange. A single person goes to the top of a mountain and God gives him a list of rules for him and his tribe chiseled on stone tablets. From the beginning, I knew I wanted to visually explore that strangeness and ended up using an abstract collage style to hint at how unusual and layered with meaning this event was.

I really like how this design built out into other slides and have included a couple examples below. The full sermon set is available on Sharefaith.
